Gia (Georgia) was a great asset to our web team. She took a lot on and was a quick study. She is technically savvy, creative and diligent. Gia likes a creative web marketing challenge and rises to the occasion.

There have been several other people in Gia’s position with us since she left – none have been as good. good.

Gia Has Been Busy

Posted on February 23, 2011 in Uncategorized

So here’s roughly what I’ve been doing for the eight months since my last post:

 • Moving to Texas
 • Writing for ANN
 • Working on another half-dozen of side projects

That’s pretty much it. I’m finally in a space where I’m taking on a bit more freelance work, and ¬†also just launched a new site (in beta)– just a for-fun project. I’ve been writing for a site called JobDeals that’s devoted to local service providers, and for a TV site that hasn’t launched yet (more on that later). Aaand I’ve been helping the wonderful Teri as she tweaks her site, JacksonHoleBuzz.

Most importantly, I’ve been having a lot of fun!

Anime News Network!

Posted on June 15, 2010 in Uncategorized

Yes, I mentioned a while ago that I would be taking some anime-related work in June, and have since started my part-time gig at the Anime News Network, the largest and longest-running anime news site on the ‘net (I think). I’m helping out on both the news and the features front, writing, editing, brainstorming, etc. Here are a few items I’ve done over there:

Just a handful of what’s been going on and what’s to come for me at ANN. :)

French Beds I Have Slept In

Posted on May 14, 2010 in Uncategorized

Well, not ME– but Fran Kearton, a relative whose book, French Beds I Have Slept In (And Some I Wish I Hadn’t), I’ve been editing for some time now! The book is in the final stages before it gets printed, and we’ve launched a website for the book in preparation!

Fran has been blessedly patient with me for the duration of this project, since I’ve been editing her book while working full-time elsewhere, but now we’re finally almost done! Soon we’ll have copies that Fran will sell and who off at signings and readings.
